The Brigadier is the heavy-slide Beretta, and the Inox version puts it in stainless steel. It is new, and it carries the weight and square lines that distinguish the Brigadier from a standard 92FS. A heavier slide changes the way the pistol shoots. The extra mass slows the cycle slightly and keeps the sights tracking smoothly. For range work it adds a feeling of control, and many Beretta shooters prefer the look.

Inox means stainless steel, which resists corrosion better than blued parts. It is a good match for carry in humid weather or for anyone who sweats on a gun. A quick wipe after use is usually enough to keep it looking sharp.

The 92 design is a hammer-fired pistol with a double-action first pull and single-action shots after, an open slide and a decocking lever. That layout has been used in military and police work for decades.
