The anchor engraved on this P226 MK25 is a nod to the U.S. Navy, which has long used the pistol, and the markings give it character beyond the usual black pistol. It is listed as MA compliant, with a 10-round magazine to match the state's requirements.

The pistol is chambered in 9mm Luger and has a 4.4 inch barrel. It is finished in black. The MK25 variant of the P226 is known for its corrosion-resistant finish, which makes sense given its use around salt water. Shoot a couple of magazines of your chosen ammunition before you trust it with anything important.

The P226 is a full-size, double-action, single-action pistol. The first shot is a long pull, and the rest are shorter and lighter. Plenty of people find it easy to shoot well because the pistol is heavy enough to hold steady and the grip is comfortable.

This is a good pick for someone in Massachusetts who wants a pistol with a story. Check your local requirements before you order. The pistol is new, ships to your FFL dealer, and requires a background check at the counter.
