The P229 Elite in stainless steel, with night sights and two 12 round magazines, is a compact SIG that rewards careful shoppers. It is new, in 9mm. SS means stainless slide, and NS means night sights. The stainless helps resist rust, and the night sights give you a glowing front dot in low light.

The P229 is the mid-size cousin of the P226. It has a metal frame, a hammer, and the double-action/single-action trigger that SIG made famous on duty pistols. The shorter slide and grip carry well under a coat and weigh less on a belt, but it keeps the steady shooting qualities of the family.

Two magazines in the box is a useful extra. You can run a range session or keep a spare loaded without buying more right away. Details beyond the name, like the barrel length and exact stainless finish, should be checked against the product photos or confirmed with us.

It ships to a licensed dealer of your choice for the background check and pickup. A solid choice for a carry or home defense pistol with a classic look.
