The P229 is the compact answer to the P226, and in Legion Gray with X-Ray3 night sights it becomes a carry-sized pistol that you can use in poor light. It is new, in 9mm, with a 3.9 inch barrel and a 10 round magazine.

That 10 round magazine, along with the MA at the end of the name, points to a version made for Massachusetts-style capacity rules. If you live elsewhere you can still buy it, though the standard model may suit you better. Check your local law.

X-Ray3 sights glow in the dark thanks to a bright front dot and a rear outline, which helps you find the front sight when light is low. They are a practical upgrade for any pistol you might use after sundown.

The mid-size P229 holds the hammer-fired, double-action/single-action layout SIG is known for. It has a shorter grip and slide than the P226, so it conceals easier under a coat and weighs less on a belt, though it keeps the all-metal feel. For anything else, ask us before ordering. The pistol ships to a licensed dealer you choose for the background check and pickup.
