CZ makes steel-framed pistols that shoot better than their price suggests, and the P-09 is a good example. It is a full-size 9mm with a hammer-fired double-action, single-action trigger, and the F in the name points to the frame with an accessory rail. The Nocturne version carries a dark finish and often some extra touches.

This used pistol includes two magazines and the factory box. The P-09 family has a reputation for a comfortable grip and a low bore axis, and those two things help keep the muzzle flat when you shoot fast. The ample magazine capacity suits a range day or home defense.

CZ pistols have a few quirks. The slide sits inside the frame rails, which gives a tight fit, and the first double-action pull is longer and heavier than the follow-up shots. Practice that transition and the trigger gets easy to manage. Many owners also like carrying a hammer-fired pistol with the hammer down for the first shot.

When you receive it, inspect the finish and the rails. Dry fire a few times in both modes and test the magazines. Look at the barrel and chamber with a light. The pistol is sold as described, in used condition. It ships to your FFL dealer for the background check.
