Dirty Harry made the Model 29 famous, and the 29-10 is a later version of the same big-frame revolver. This example has a 4 inch barrel, which is a handy length for a .44 Magnum, and comes in a wooden display box.
The revolver is chambered in .44 Magnum and fires .44 Special as well. That gives you a choice between a mild load for the range and a hard-hitting one for the field. The 4 inch barrel is easier to carry than the 6 inch versions, but it produces more flash and recoil. A snug holster that covers the trigger guard is worth more than any accessory. Eye and ear protection cost little compared with the range days they make possible.
Check the photos for finish and look closely at the cylinder gap and the forcing cone, as you would with any used magnum.
Many owners keep a Model 29 for the history and the feel of the thing. It makes a fine safe companion. It is sold used and as described. It ships to your FFL dealer, and the background check is completed there.
